Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2, 2026

These terms govern your use of PeerPath. By using PeerPath, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Eligibility

PeerPath is intended for users 13 years of age and older. If you are under 18, you should use PeerPath with guidance from a parent, guardian, school counselor, or other trusted adult. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

What PeerPath provides

PeerPath gives you tools to prepare for undergraduate applications:

  • Case Lab: anonymized application case profiles, with strategy breakdowns published by PeerPath as they are released. We do not publish full essays or private materials.
  • AI Review tools to get structured feedback on your essays and materials.
  • A workspace for planning your school list, tracking deadlines, and organizing your materials.
  • Optional mentor sessions with current students who have opted in to help.

No admissions guarantee

PeerPath does not guarantee admission to any school, scholarship awards, or any particular outcome. All guidance — from examples, AI Review, or mentor conversations — is educational and informational. Admission decisions depend on many factors outside our control. You are responsible for your own application decisions and their results.

Your responsibilities

When you use PeerPath, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information in your profile and application materials.
  • Only upload or submit content that you have the right to share.
  • Not misuse the platform, attempt to manipulate review results, or disrupt other users.
  • Not submit content that includes other people's private information without their consent.
  • Use the platform honestly, respectfully, and in good faith.

AI Review disclaimer

AI Review provides automated feedback to help you improve your application materials. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or miss important context. You should review all suggestions carefully before applying them.

PeerPath and its AI providers are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI Review feedback. You are responsible for your final application materials and submission decisions.

Mentor guidance

Mentor and student sessions on PeerPath reflect personal experience and perspective. Mentors are not official representatives of their universities, and their advice does not constitute official admissions guidance from those institutions.

Peer conversations are supplementary to your own judgment and official school resources, not a substitute for them.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. When you delete your account, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Payments

Some features may be tested with selected users during pilot periods. Current availability and pricing are shown on the pricing page. Certain features — such as AI Review — may require a paid pass in the future. If paid features are introduced, pricing will be clearly shown before any payment is required. We will update these terms if billing terms change.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as PeerPath evolves. We will notify users of significant changes where possible. Continued use of PeerPath after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with changes, you can delete your account.
