Ask PeerPath

Ask a real question, get a reviewed answer

Ask PeerPath is the question-and-answer flow inside the PeerPath AI workspace. Students submit application questions, the PeerPath team reviews each one first, and questions are routed to a mentor when a real student perspective is needed.

Who this is for

Undergraduate applicants who have a specific question about a school, a program, an essay direction, or how to prioritize next. It does not need a full mentor session but does need a real, considered answer.

Why a moderated question flow

Open forums fill up with low-quality answers and confident guesses. Direct messages put the burden on individual mentors and break down at scale. A moderated question flow keeps quality high: every question is read by the PeerPath team first, and a mentor is only assigned when a real student perspective will help.

How Ask PeerPath works

How Ask PeerPath works

01 / 04

Submit one question with the context the answerer needs (target school, system, what you have already tried).

What Ask PeerPath is not

  • It is not an instant chatbot. Answers are written by humans and may take time.

  • It is not anonymous public posting. Questions are reviewed by the PeerPath team and (when assigned) a specific mentor, not broadcast to a forum.

  • It does not predict admission or grade your essay. Use AI Review for structured essay feedback.

  • It does not replace a paid mentor session for in-depth, back-and-forth conversation.

Privacy

Questions are visible to the PeerPath team for moderation and to any mentor assigned to your thread. We do not publish questions publicly. Sensitive personal information, schoolwork that is not yours, and anything you would not want shared with a single mentor should not be put in a question. Use email to hello@peerpath.co for anything that needs more care.

FAQ

Common questions

  • How fast do answers come back?

Answers are written by humans, so timing varies. The PeerPath team aims to read every new question quickly, but a mentor-assigned answer can take longer because mentors are real students and recent graduates with their own work.

  • Why is there a daily limit?

1 new question per student per day keeps the queue answerable and the answers thoughtful. Replies and follow-ups inside an open thread are not capped. The limit is only on starting new threads.

  • Are questions public?

No. Questions are visible to the PeerPath team for moderation and to a single assigned mentor when one is needed. They are not posted to a public forum.
