Access vs Energy
Two separate things, on purpose. Your account starts with 20 Energy. Energy has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
Unlocks time-limited access, personalization and capabilities, like Pro intelligence or Counselor Pipp. A pass does not make task AI unlimited.
Pays for task-level AI, one action at a time. A balance you own: buying lots of Energy never unlocks Pro or Counselor features.
Counselor Pipp conversation is covered by its pass under fair use, not per message. Task actions you start separately still cost Energy.
Counselor Pipp chat itself never costs Energy per message. It is fair-use access under a Counselor or Preview pass. When any pass ends, unused Energy stays yours. Access pauses; the balance does not.

No. PeerPath is not an admissions agency and does not write applications for you. We provide a structured workspace for organizing your application and AI-powered feedback on drafts you have already written. All application decisions remain yours.
No. PeerPath does not predict admission chances, guarantee outcomes, or claim that better essays mean acceptance. The review is one perspective to inform your own revision.
Yes. The workspace, school list, deadlines, timeline, materials, activities, application guide, and mentor discovery, is free with no time limit and no card required.
A written summary of how the draft reads, inline comments anchored to your own sentences, top revision priorities, and questions to prepare for a mentor session. Reviews are qualitative: Deep Review adds a revision degree (how much work the draft still needs), never a numeric score.
Deep Review reads your essay inside the whole application: your target schools, activities, and other essays. It tells you where the draft should go next and how revising it strengthens your profile. Standard Review stays available for sentence-level feedback on a single draft.

No. A pass is a fixed-length purchase: the Pipp Preview lasts 7 days, and the Pro and Counselor passes last 30 days. When a pass ends, its access pauses; your workspace, progress and Energy stay exactly where they were. Renew manually anytime.
Energy is PeerPath’s in-platform usage unit. Your account starts with a 20 Energy entitlement, and a standard AI review costs 20 Energy. Energy has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and never disappears when a pass ends.
Yes. Share your invite link and you earn 10 Energy automatically when a referred friend finishes signing up, for up to 5 friends. Rewards apply to genuine new students only, have no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn.
Yes. Schools, deadlines, timeline, materials, activities, application guide, mentor discovery, and your student profile are all free with no limits. We do not paywall core planning features.
PeerPath is not charging you for access to AI. Many students already use AI tools. What PeerPath provides is a structured application review workflow: your draft, prompt, school context, rubric feedback, inline comments, revision priorities, and saved review history in one place. It connects your essay to your application context, the materials, school list, and review history that live in your workspace.
Energy packs add 30, 90, or 240 Energy to your balance. A standard AI review costs 20 Energy, so the packs cover 1, 4, 12 standard reviews. A pack is a one-time purchase of a balance you own; nothing renews automatically. Fair-use and anti-abuse limits may apply to protect service quality.
Fair use means the review system is built for real application revision, not automated testing or account sharing. Submitting the same draft hundreds of times or using one account for multiple applicants would fall outside fair use.
No. Energy is for AI Review and other supported AI features. Mentor sessions are priced separately and are not included in Energy packs.
No. A Pipp review gives you structured feedback on your draft. You remain the author. The review does not rewrite your essay.
Some mentors will offer written essay review as a separate, mentor-priced service. It is not included in Energy packs and is coming soon. Check individual mentor profiles for availability.
